Very rare Trajan's denarius, which shows a legend typical of Trajan's later coins, i.e. having a dedication character, suggesting that it is not the Emperor himself who is the issuer of the coin, but is offered to him by the grateful Senate and the Roman People. Unfortunately, at that time, the digits after TR P were not placed on the coins, therefore dating with an accuracy to the year is not possible in this case. Particularly noteworthy is an interesting, rare depiction of the Victoria scene crowning the victorious emperor, which had its counterparts also in rare aureuses and in bronze denominations.
On Coinarchives, we found only 7 quotations, the last one comes from 2019, where the coinage was sold for EUR 1,159.
