Extremelly well preserved 50 zloty from the Insurrection 1794. Once we have acquired three pieces of this type, exactly and only this one we chose for PMG grading. In our opinion the recieved grade does not fully reflect the beauty of this piece. There are no folds or creases, paper is original with an intense dark red colour. Dry seal is perfectly preserved with natural sheen. The lower grade is partly a result of low centering where the lower right margin comes into the design. However at the lower left corner a part of other piece from the same sheet can be seen. The PMG scale does not differentiate examples that were cut out by hand, hence it is very unusual for insurrection notes to recieve grades above 60. Exceptionally attractive banknote.
