Etching on ark. 2.9x5.9 cm. Ex-libris from circa 1830, with the coat of arms of Jelita and a space to write the inventory number. Exlibris mounted on a black paper backing mounted on a much larger paper backing. Lead notations on the backing. Slight loss.
L. Dembowski (1789-1878) - castellan, senator, economist. In Warsaw he accumulated a sizable library consisting of contemporary books, old prints and manuscripts. After 1830 the book collection was moved to his hometown of Klementowice. After the sale of the estate in 1858, part of the manuscripts went to the Baworowski Library, the book collection was auctioned off in 1874.
