Biography
Painter, didactician, exhibition curator, juror of art competitions. Studied at the Institute of Artistic Education of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in the studio of Prof. Mieczyslaw Herman (1986-87), at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1988-93. He obtained a diploma in the studio of Prof. Włodzimierz Kunz) and at the Ecole Regionale des Beaux-Arts in Rennes, France (1995-97 and a diploma with distinction under Prof. Gerard Baldet). In 2003, he was nominated for the Passport of Polityka. Since 1997 he has been affiliated with the Institute of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
Member of Otwarta Pracownia in Cracow and Lublin, the Lublin Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts and the Association of Polish Artists. He has presented his paintings in solo and group exhibitions in galleries in Warsaw (CCA Ujazdowski Castle, National Museum, Biegas Museum, Academy Salon, Very White, Beta16, Karowa, Farbiarnia, DAP), Poznan (ABC, Piekary, U Jezuitów, InnerSpaces, Szyperska, CK Zamek), Krakow (Otwarta Pracownia, Nova, Pryzmat, Pałac Sztuki, Galeria ASP, Fosfor), Tricity (PGS in Sopot, National Museum in Gdansk, Chlebnicka-ASP, Tajna), Lublin (Zachęta, Biała, BWA, Labirynt, Warsztaty Kultury, Zajezdnia, Pod podłogą), and in many other galleries in Poland and abroad.
