The title of the painting "Cyclone" indicates that Artymowska's abstract vision was inspired by reality, a weather phenomenon, and clearly suggests such an interpretation to the viewer. Nevertheless, we remain in the space of abstract "polyforms." The circulation of air here has its counterpart in the arrangement of superimposed cylindrical, flattened elements, which give the impression of spinning. The artist has tamed the violent atmospheric phenomenon, translating its energy into the dynamism of geometric forms.
