Painter, student of the Cracow SSP in the studio of F. Szynalewski, W. Łuszczkiewicz and
J. Matejko. He continued his studies at the Munich academy, after which he took an artistic trip to Hungary and Italy. He lived in Lviv (1890-1914), Zakopane (1914-1921) and Poznań (from 1921), from where he often traveled to Zakopane and the Hutsul region. He was a member of the Union of Polish Artists in Lviv and a member of the Association of Polish Artists. He took part in numerous exhibitions in Poland, as well as in Vienna, London, Munich and St. Petersburg. He expressed himself most readily in watercolor technique, painting portraits, still lifes and landscapes of the Tatra and Hutsul regions.
