Jozef Tadeusz Polkowski (1820-1895) painter, draughtsman, illustrator and educator. He exhibited in Warsaw at national exhibitions (in 1845 and 1858) and in Zachęta - from 1875. He drew for the "Illustrated Weekly" and for the Vienna "Progress". He painted genre scenes, portraits and religious paintings.
