Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1908-1918, 1920/21), where he was a student of J. Mehoffer, and in Vienna. In the 1920s and 1930s he made many artistic trips to Scandinavian countries, France, Italy, Greece and Turkey. He exhibited at home and abroad, including at: the TPSP in Cracow, where he had two solo exhibitions (1929, 1931), Lvov (1926, 1927), Poznan and the TZSP in Warsaw (1930, 1931, 1934), as well as Paris (1927), Bratislava (1928), London (1930) and Brussels. After 1945, he belonged to the "Circle" grouping. He practiced oil and watercolor painting. The main theme of his work was landscape, especially mountain and seaside.
