Between 1908 and 1915 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with J. Malczewski, J. Mehoffer, S. Dębicki and K. Laszczka, and in 1918-1919 with T. Axentowicz. Before World War II, he worked at the Bagatela Theater in Cracow as director . He exhibited at TPSP in Krakow, Lviv and in Lodz, Poznan, among other places. The subjects of his works were landscapes, architectural views of Cracow, genre scenes. He used oil technique. His paintings can be seen in the National Museum and the Historical Museum in Cracow, among others.
