Oil painting depicting a hare.
The picture was painted in 1930 by the now forgotten painter, Wladyslaw Pyzykowski. A short note about the artist was published by "Stolica" (no. 4/1974). We can learn from it that Pyżykowski studied at the drawing school of Pius Weloński, as well as the Warsaw School of Fine Arts under Milosz Kotarbiński. He also took private lessons from Wojciech Kossak. In 1930. Pyżykowski was awarded the first prize at an exhibition at Zachęta.
In addition to painting, Pyżykowski was professionally engaged in designing furniture.
