Biography
Studied abroad. After years of study, he returned to the country and settled in Dańkowo, near Biała Rawska. He exhibited at the Art Salon in Warsaw. The subject of his works was mainly rural genre scenes showing villagers during their daily activities. Little information about his life and work has survived. According to some accounts, in addition to his artistic activity he was also engaged in farm work, which may have had a significant influence on his compositions conceived in the realist convention.
