From 1965 to 1971 he studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk in the studio of S. Borysowski. He had several solo exhibitions, including in London and Stockholm. He also participated in many group exhibitions both at home and abroad. He has been awarded medals several times. His work is characterized by the richness of forms and colors, dynamics of composition, diversity of texture of the painting. The artist's works are in many, mostly foreign, collections of museums and galleries, including in the United States, Israel, Austria, Italy and Finland.
