Henryk Barwiński, born Henryk Teodor Hertz, alias Kirkor, Zwidlicz (born April 23, 1877 in Warsaw, died December 8, 1970 there) - Polish actor, director, illustrator.

In 1904 he received a call up to the army for the Russian-Japanese front, to avoid this he moved to Krakow and continued acting there. From 1906 he simultaneously studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts under Konstanty Laszczka. In 1913 he became a member of the board of directors of the Union of Artists and Women Artists of Polish Theaters in Galicia.

On August 4, 1914, in Lviv, he volunteered for the Polish Legions, and was assigned to the 1st Infantry Regiment of the 1st Brigade, initially in the 2nd Company of the 2nd Battalion, and later in the 4th Company of the 3rd Battalion. He was promoted to second lieutenant and given the position of adjutant of the 3rd Battalion. He organized the Legion theater, designed the medal honoring the name-day of Jozef Pilsudski in 1917.He refused to take the oath of allegiance to the Emperor and in the autumn of 1917 returned to Lviv, where he joined the ensemble of the local Municipal Theater.In 1920 he fought in the defense of Lviv, went to the reserves with the rank of captain. For his heroic participation in the fighting he was twice awarded the Cross of Valor.

Stefan Felsztynski (born May 3, 1888 in Zagorz, died June 30, 1966 in London) - cavalry major of the Polish Army, painter.
From 1908 to 1912 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow in the atelier of Jozef Mehoffer; his lecturers also included Stanisław Dębicki and Teodor Axentowicz. As a member of the Field Falcon Squads, he enlisted in 1914 in the Polish Legions. He designed the first pattern of the uniform worn by the 1st Brigade, the so-called "Beliniak". In October 1916 he won the hippy competition for the "Cup of the East" organized in Baranovichi. After Poland regained its independence, he took part in the war against the Bolsheviks.

He was a member of the Unicorn Artists Guild. On February 3, 1923, he married Julianna Anna called Hanka (1893-1985) daughter of Włodzimierz Tetmajer and Anna Mikołajczykówna. He made a drawing of his father-in-law's death mask.

Before the outbreak of World War II, he was mobilized and took part in the September campaign in the east of the country, where he was taken prisoner by the NKVD after the Red Army entered. Liberated as part of the amnesty, he made his way to the organized Army of General Wl. Anders, became commander of the Armored Weapons Training Center by order of January 15, 1942, and went through the combat route with the Army.
