Theodor Fahrner's breakthrough came at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900, where he was awarded the silver medal. As the heir to his father's jewellery factory, Theodor was one of the pioneers of Art Nouveau and somewhat later designer jewellery. With the help of some highly talented designers, he succeeded in turning the inconspicuous ring factory into one of the most famous Art Nouveau jewellery companies in Europe.
