Rare Pertinax's denarius depicting on the reverse of Ops, the personification of wealth. It is an unusual choice, as Antoninus Pius had used it only once before. In this case, the performance could refer to the events of the day as Ops is holding ears of grain, and one of Pertinax's first priorities was to travel to Ostia to oversee the grain deliveries.
