Marcin Jakubowski was born in 1979 in a small settlement famous for a military base and a prison. Since he was intent on not getting into neither of them, he tried hard to earn good grades and he eventually started studying programming in Gdańsk. It was there that he understood that visions of alien worlds fascinate him more than lines of code. He began to learn the secrets of illustration and after 13 years he can safely say that he is doing what he should. For the last 5 years he also worked on developing the concepts for animated films, some of which are to be produced.
