Lithuania Medal 2010 '600 YEARS FOR THE BATTLE OF ZALGIRIS'. Averse: Of the medal depicts a fragment of the Battle of Grunwald created by the artist J. Kalinauskas based on the famous painting of the same name by Jan Mateika. The medal features an impressive battle scene; in the foreground of which the figure of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Vytautas stands out. At the top; along the edge of the medal; there is an inscription in capital letters FOR THE BATTLE OF ŽALGIRIS; and at the bottom; the jubilee date is 600 years.
