Like the rest of the 1946-1947 banknotes with a denomination of more than 50 zlotys, it featured Socialist Realist motifs with a worker-peasant theme.
The banknote was designed by Waclaw Borowski, the watermark - rhombuses in a tile pattern.
The banknote was put into circulation on January 20, 1949, printed in Prague, the NBP was responsible for the issue.
