Wiktor Wittyg - born 1857 in Strzyżawka, died October 17, 1921 - researcher of numismatics, Piast coins and city seals, collector and member of the Numismatic Society in Cracow.
The documents , which we publish in this tone, relate to the internal history of that part of ancient Poland, which in the thirteenth century constituted the Cracow and Sandomir districts, comprising the castles of: Kraków, Sandomirz, Wislica, Sącz, Lublin, Wojnicz, Biecz, Radom, Żarnów, Zawichost, Czchów, Małogoszcz, Połaniec, Brzesko, Sieciechów and Łuków.
