Halina[a] Poswiatowska née Myga (born May 9[b] 1935 in Częstochowa, died October 11, 1967 in Warsaw) - is one of the well-known and respected Polish poets of the 20th century.
The collection of poetry offered here, "Hymn of Idolatry," is the first in the poet's oeuvre and has received favorable reviews from critics and poets.
The poems that followed were collected in three more volumes of poetry, "Today's Day" (1963), "Ode to Hands" (1966) and "One More Recollection" (1968, posthumously).
