"The Exhibition of Polish Architecture, arranged in 1915 through the efforts of the Circle of Architects and the Society for the Care of the Monuments of the Past in Warsaw, could exert its direct influence on the artists creating and the public sensitive to beauty only for the duration of its duration, an influence therefore temporary and transient by nature. However, even a cursory acquaintance with the richness and artistic value of the material collected at the exhibition triggered in both artists and lovers of native art the need to consolidate these impressions - the need for the most permanent contact with this treasure trove of centuries-old national creativity, radiating with a strange strength of vitality. Under the influence of this desire, felt vividly and universally, the idea was born to undertake a publication in which the total possible yield of the exhibition could continue to exist and reach the farthest corners of the Polish land, constantly and everywhere making people aware of what Polish architecture was made of and toward which it strives..."

A unique catalog of photographs of historic architectural objects [from Sandomierz, Cracow, Podhale, Red Ruthenia, Lithuania, Volhynia, Podolia, Ukraine and others] collected at the Polish Architecture exhibition in 1915.
