Andrzej Rafalski. born April 5, 1957 in Grudziadz. He graduated from the polytechnic in 1984. The artist's favorite material is glass. In 1992 he collaborated with Western Ceramics in Toronto and participated in an exhibition of ceramics and glass in Toronto. Since then, he has participated in a number of group exhibitions showcasing the author's works of applied glass art. For many months, he collaborated with such glassworkers as Luigi Barbaro of Murano and Poul Jörgensen of Sweden. This cooperation resulted in a joint exhibition in Bornholm (Öland Island, Sweden) in 1998. In 1998, he established cooperation with "Cristal Amber Rosenthal" and "Vitra Design Museum" (Germany). He constantly collaborates with other artists and designers in the design and implementation phase of functional forms, as well as interior design elements (lamps, plafonds, water curtains, tables). Works designed and made by the artist can be found in many private collections, companies and museums at home and abroad.
The artist is a member of the Warsaw District of the Polish Artists' Union.
