Beata Stankiewicz-Szczerbik (b. 1967), graduate of the Faculty of Glass and Ceramics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw . She specializes in a number of glass techniques, which she uses to create unique pieces made of glass. With it, the artist creates complex self-portraits, tells, about the search for identity, about passing and about femininity, which has always been the leitmotif of her work. Among other things, with her art she tries to disarm the false - because idealized - image of motherhood. Her works adorn many museum and private collections. They can also be found in public space: stained glass windows in St. Matthias Church in Wroclaw, or glazing in theExecutive Lounge area of the Wroclaw airport terminal.
