His adventure with glass began in 1991 in Greece, in a glass workshop. There, under the guidance of masters, he learned the unique techniques of coloring and hand forming glass. His desire to create designs in his own studio was realized in 1997, when he returned to the country and together with his wife Ewa opened his own glass studio, creating in his own style, unique glass forms, utilitarian and decorative. "From the furnace, in which there is liquid glass, a small portion of glass is scooped onto a pipe (metal tube). Rolling it on the steel top, we give it a cylindrical shape. By blowing air through the tibia at the end of the tube, a so-called bubble is formed, onto which a larger portion of glass (suitable for a certain form) is scooped. By pressing with wooden sections, boards, pressing and pulling with pliers, notching with scissors and blowing air, we give the glass the right shape. The finished glass mold is immediately put into a special oven, where the initial temperature is 480 to 540°C. Slow cooling lasting about 8-14 hours or more removes the stresses in the glass (this is called glass annealing)." Marek Jargollo Marek Jargollo
