The Krasnals - a group of anonymous artists that has been active since 2008. They operate mainly through
through their blog, where they regularly publish posts with their performances.
They are known for their many controversial ventures, and their actions based on provocation are a
response to, among other things, the ongoing socio-political changes in our country. At
over the years, the group has organized many ventures. In 2011, it appeared at the 54.
Venice Biennale. It then arranged an action inspired by the hippie
slogan Make Love Not War, the group's subversive slogan was Make Love Not Art.The works of The
Krasnals can be found in many private Polish and foreign collections and public
art collections. Selected exhibitions: "The Krasnals" (Sopot Auction DOm, 2016);
"I felt the spasms of your esophagus/The Krasnals. Whielki Krasnal" (Wroclaw,
2016); "Art in Art" (MOCAK, 2017) "Mission impossible" (BWA SOKOL, 2018),
"Schulz according to The Dwarves. IGNORABIMUS. So that no one would kid themselves to guess the
God's intentions" (Upper Silesian Museum, Bytom, 2022). In November opened
a cross-sectional exhibition of artists "The Krasnals. A Self-Portrait of Polish Reality",
Upper Silesian Museum, Bytom.
