Rococo wooden case with floral paintings on dark green background, decorated with gilt bronze appliqués - with acanthus and rocaille motif. The dial is white enameled, with Roman hour division and Arabic minute division; moreover, the inscription: "FERDINAND / BERTHOUD". The same signature on the inner plate of the mechanism:
"Ferdinand Berthoud A Paris". Mechanism with Parisian system of beating hours and half-hours; bell bowl hidden under the canopy crowning the case.
Bell pendulum and case key included; no winding key.
