Unique uniface medal in SILVER of John III Sobieski, minted on the occasion of the Relief of Vienna in 1683.

Medal has never been listed on the auction market before.

The medal is known only from the collection of Hr. Dzieduszycki.

Huge rarity and an incredible treat for collectors of Polish medals.


Obverse: two knights on horses, one in Polish, the other in German costume, fighting a Turk, under which the horse fell, below the inscription 1683 12 SEPT (September 12, 1683)
