A nice piece.
Type III bust, profile shields wrapped inward, three rosettes. Bust with shoulder with mascaron. The rosette ends the obverse legend. A more interesting, rarer issue.
The coin illustrated in the catalog of L. Ciura.
Note: the book is not the subject of the auction.
The 1667 Bydgoszcz sixpences form a very diverse group of coins. The differences on the reverse concern the shape of the shields of arms and the decorations between them and next to the crown. Differences on the obverse concern only the bust, which can be attributed to several types.
