A nice example of a very rare item. Probably the second known aureus from this pair of stamps. Trace of a patched hole.

Obverse: bust of the emperor wearing laurel wreath, armor and paludamentum, to the right, in the rim legend:
IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG;

Reverse: romae seated on throne to left, holding Victoria and long scepter, surrounded by legend:
ROMAE AETERNAE;

Gold, diameter 20 mm, weight 4.47 g, axis 6 h.
