Extremely rare Titus denarius with a large head facing left, according to Coinarchives last listing from 2012 with the auctioned amount of 2,500 USD.

Reverse: Capricorn left, below globe

This type of reverse presented here is modeled on the emission of cystophores from the pergamon workshop minted in 27-26 BC and from Spanish Augustus denarii, minted in Colonia Patricia in 18-16 BC. This type of reverse was also minted by Vespasian in 79 AD. In the case of Titus, Capricorn may be related to his zodiac sign.
