Sigismund II Augustus, Half-penny 1552, Vilnius - LI/LITVA - pierced MAG/NNI - very rare
Seventh type Eagle and twelfth type Pogo.
Inscribed variety with the King's titulature on the obverse ending in .... LI and an obverse inscription on the reverse ending in ... LITVA
Error - in the obverse obverse inscription at ...MAGNI... the letter G has been punched into the letter N, MAG/NNI - very rare.
Condition: 1-
Slightly deficient otolith, but a well-preserved coin. Beautiful detail. Intense luster and mint mirror. Rarer vintage. Very rare error - MAG/NNI punctuation. In this state of preservation, the coin is very rare and difficult to get on the collector market. Piece for discerning collectors.
