A lighter along with a cigarette holder manufactured by the Walter Baier Company after the end of World War II in the German occupation zone. Patented in 1949. Originally a trailer was attached to the Jeep to act as an ashtray.
Secondarily added at the top is a hand-engraved image of the badge of the 4th Cadre Rifle Brigade.
An interesting product, most likely a war souvenir.
Good condition of the item.
Aluminum, plastic, dimensions 7x13,7 cm.
