Collection of 105 and 1 microfilm of photographic reproductions made in the 1970s-80s. (partly from original film, partly from photographs) by Rotamaster Roman Medwicz documenting the defilade of the Krakow garrison subdivisions on May 3, 1936 at the Krakowskie Błonia.

Rotmistrz Roman Medwicz (1914-2002) graduate of the SPRK in Grudziądz, platoon cadet of the 8th regiment of lancers and the 5th infantry regiment, in the 1939 war as a second lieutenant platoon commander in the 5th infantry regiment, then an officer of the ZWZ-AK, pseud. Morski, organizer of the partisan unit "Luboń" in the composition of the 1st infantry regiment of the AK, awarded the Virtuti Militari Cross and the Cross of Valor. Arrested by the UB in 1945, briefly imprisoned in Cracow. After the war, a collector, an outstanding expert and documentalist of the Polish cavalry, he obtained materials for the "Cartography of the Cavalry in Photography" both from original negatives and from pre-war photographs, all photos described in detail. Preserved to this day, they are an invaluable source for the history of Polish cavalry of the Second Republic period.
