Mieczyslaw Rakowski (1882 - 1947), Sketchbook

pencil, ink on paper, 49 pages (41 with drawings), 10 x 13 cm, on the cover the author's stamp: "ATELIER | M. Rakowski".

Inside the artist's sketchbook are 41 full-page sketches of mainly landscapes and city views, but also portraits and figure studies. Between the pages is a preserved leaflet with a reproduction of Florian Kleminski's 1945 painting "The Burning Town Hall of Poznań" and a description in French.
