Format 16/23 cm. p. 401, [2], LXXV plates, including I - LXVIII color plates on chalk paper with symbols and badges of the Division. Cover introlig. full leather. Emblem of the 1st Armored Division embossed in relief on the front. Back 5-panel, convex gussets. On spine black signboard with gilt lettering. Dedicatory entry. Enclosed is a 4-page print issued to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the end of the battles of the 1st Polish Armored Division 1945 - 1975,published in Glasgow. Printed by S. K. Matwin. Basic work on this military unit commanded by Maj. Gen. Stanislaw Maczek. Very richly illustrated.
