He established his first studio at the instigation of Ferdynand Ruszczyc. His first works in Vilnius were created between 1912 and 1919 and were mainly devoted to landscape and monumental architecture. It was these themes that became the leading ones in his work, and it was these that he mainly dealt with until the end of his life. He was the founder of landscape photography. His collection of about 10,000 photos "Poland in photographic landscapes" and his photo library of Polish and foreign photos burned down in Vilnius in 1944. After the war, until 1946, he took about 1,000 photos of the destruction and reconstruction of Warsaw and about 2,000 photos of the Western Territories. He published many albums, volumes and postcards with photographs, mainly of the borderlands, and especially of Vilnius. He was also the author of many textbooks on the aesthetics and technique of photography, sightseeing, and initiated hist. research on photography.
"Władysław Strzedziński (born July 27, 1895 in Vilnius, died November 24, 1959 in Poznań) - Polish master bookbinder. Son of Konstanty (1861-1948) and Ewa, née Perkowska (1863-1950). Master bookbinder from Vilnius. He passed the master's exam in 1925 in Vilna (he passed the next master's exam in Poznan in 1957). From 1922 he ran his bookbinding shop at 12 Zamkowa Street, then at Tatarska Street and during the German occupation at Trocka Street. Among Wladyslaw Strzedzinski's greatest achievements as a bookbinder were the bindings of the liturgical books of the "Vilnius Missals," which were commissioned by Boleslaw Żynda (1904-1989), then manager of the publishing branch of St. Adalbert's Bookstore. The author of the designs for the Missals, was Vilnius graphic artist and painter Gracjan Achrem-Achremowicz (1899-1942). After World War II, Wladyslaw Strzedzinski settled in Lodz and then in Poznan, where he opened a bookbinding workshop at 11 Ogrodowa St. Among his major bookbinding achievements at the new location was the binding of Aleksander Brückner's work "The History of Polish Culture" in four volumes, as well as binding commissions from private individuals, including poet Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna (1892-1983)."
