Copperplate on ark. 4.5x5.7 cm. Coat of arms shield, on it an oval with the Three Teeth coat of arms, around it the motto "Parcere subjectis, et debellare Superbos" (Polish: "spare the vanquished, and tame the proud"). Ex-library by Kajetan Wincenty Kielisinski, printed in Medyka between 1836 and 1839. very good condition.
A. K. Batowski (1799-1862) - bibliophile, historian, landowner. He worked in the library of the Ossolineum and in the library of Wiktor Baworowski. He amassed an extensive library (numbering more than 5,000 volumes with separate sections for maps, manuscripts, engravings) in his hometown of Odova. He was the first to start collecting ex-librises. He bequeathed a significant part of his collection to Wiktor Baworowski.
