JABŁOŃSKI ADOLF, born 1825, Krasocin near Włoszczowa, died May 2, 1887, Bóbrka near Krosno, exile, business activist, pharmacist by profession;
1872-73 studied in U.S.A., participant in conspiracy in the Kingdom of Poland, imprisoned in the Warsaw Citadel, 1849-60 sent as a prisoner of war to the Russian troops of the Orenburg Corps; in the January Uprising of 1863-64 captain, organizer of the army, fought among others at Dalikowo, December 1863-I 1864 chief of war of the Łęczyca district; emigrated; 1870 settled in Galicia, collaborator of I. Łukasiewicz, from 1870 onward. Lukasiewicz, since 1873 director of the oil mine in Bóbrka; author of memoir Ten years of Moscow captivity (1867) and work Oil Mining (1885).
