Work description:
Krzysztof Heksel is a well-known Polish surrealist painter who draws inspiration from the poetics of daydreams in his works. In terms of form, a fascination with the paintings of Zdzislaw Beksinski is discernible in this artist.
The compositions created by the painter are intended to be open to multiple interpretations and encourage viewers to intellectual contemplation. Particularly noteworthy is also the precision and technical mastery, thanks to which the worlds and dreamy visions created by Krzysztof Heksel have a suggestive effect on viewers.
In the painting on display, the artist has depicted a mysterious female figure emerging from the clouds. In the central part, the figure is composed of multicolored amorphous networks. The whole is complemented by the presence of black birds - ravens and crescents, which introduce a mood of mystery and associations with occult symbolism. The colors in the painting subtly intermingle give the impression of a stellar nebula.
