A very nice piece of a commemorative medal issued by Mieczyslaw Kurnatowski - co-founder of the Numismatic Society in Cracow, editor of the Numismatic Notes published in 1884-1889.

Arare commercially available issue with the motto Germany saved Poland made famous.

One of the more beautiful commemorative issue medals with a great royal bust and a beautiful coat of arms on the reverse.

Remnants of gilding.

Gilded bronze, diameter 38 mm, weight 26.27 g.
