Hand closed, brass binding. Sessile, disc-shaped and basket-shaped yoke. Basket made of geometrically cut flat bars. Short cap attaching the bail and the shaft riveted on the oval pad with the shaft of the head. Wooden shaft, cross-notched, covered with black leather and laced with brass filigree. The blade is polished steel, straight, wedge-shaped. A short, double-edged blade, the hilt with a claw. On the inner lobe, under the cap, the bound monogram "AP" and the mark of the Klingenthal mint of the late 8th century. P o c h w a s made of black leather, brass fittings. Neck with a riffle and a movable girth on the back. Below, a second riffle. Spur with spur on the incisal side.
