Av. LUD. XV. D. G. FR. ET NA. RE. BD. King's head left, encircled by a headband, monogrammed JCR signature on neck; below (different).
Rv. SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDICTUM (different) (date). Oval French shield, crowned, between two olive branches, below (workshop).


Dy.1682 - G.299a (R3) ; Silver - 5.86 g - 26 mm - 6 h


Top Pop: this is the finest graded PCGS specimen, but a NGC specimen is superior!


PCGS AU58 (48772958).
This is the last vintage for this type of Béarn! Minimal traces of lamination on the right and adjustment marks on the reverse. Gray patina. Superb condition.
