oil, canvas, 100x100 cm, signed on the back: Agata Czeremuszkin-Chrut 2010
She graduated from painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in 2008, and in 2007 she was on scholarship at Edinburgh College of Art. In addition to the human figure, which is the most important in Agata Czeremuszkin-Chrut's works, words and single letters transferred from the press and other media - lettering - are also an important element. It links the artist's paintings with the surrounding reality. The world created in her paintings is a transformation of the real one, it was created to show what cannot fit into words. The human figure has remained the main object of her interest for several years. According to the artist, it is the most complex and intriguing subject in painting.
