Born in 1982, she is a painter, curator (more than 90 exhibitions realized in Klub Żak, but also exhibitions in CCA Łaźnia-Sekwencja or Gdańska Galeria Miejska-Paradise lost) and author of texts on art (published in Panoptikum, Exit). She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk (2006), studied at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen and is a graduate of the Postgraduate Museum Curatorial Studies at Jagiellonian University in Krakow (2010). Agata Nowosielska's works have been exhibited in Germany and Sweden, also courtesy of the Cloud Visual Arts Foundation at the Supermarket contemporary art fair in Stockholm or at the BWA in Zielona Gora. Agata Nowosielska is a winner of the Bremerkunststipendium, the Cultural Scholarship of the City of Gdansk, the Scholarship of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for Creators of Culture, the Cultural Scholarship of the City of Gdansk Mobility Fund and the Scholarship Culture Poland in the World- Adam Mickiewicz Institute. Nowosielska's paintings are in the collection of the National Museum and in the collection of the New Nomus Museum of Contemporary Art in Gdansk. The artist's works were published in the 3rd issue of Czas Kultury (2020) and participated in the outdoor action of the capital's Zachęta presenting a reproduction of the painting on an urban medium in Warsaw(2020).
Winner of the Bremerkunstipendium (2007), the Cultural Scholarship of the City of Gdansk (2010, 2014, 2018, 2020,2021- scholarship in the era of pandemics, 2023), the international project Close Stranger (carried out in cooperation with CCA Laznia, 2013-2014) and the Scholarship of the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship for Creators of Culture (2014, 2020). Cultural Scholarship of the City of Gdansk Mobility Fund (Exhibition within the framework of the Scholarship took place at the headquarters of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists HDLU on October 29, 2015 and 2019- solo exhibition at Projektrum Hjaerne, Helsingborg, Sweden). 2016 Scholarship Culture Poland in the World - Adam Mickiewicz Institute- individual exhibition Holy place in Sweden. 2016 Scholarship of Culture Poland in the World - Adam Mickiewicz Institute- group exhibition From longing to belonging, Hong Kong, China.
