Aga Pietrzykowska studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she also completed postgraduate studies. She is a graduate of cultural studies at the University of Warsaw. The artist does painting, printmaking, creates illustrations and collages. The latter are her greatest source of creativity development and she uses them in projects carried out as part of the operation of Studio Pe, which she owns. In addition, Pietrzykowska publishes original
books, posters and educational charts. Her illustrations were included in the publication "The Best Polish Illustrators" by SLOW Publishing House. Pietrzykowska cooperates with publishing houses, cultural institutions, including the National Institute of Frederic Chopin, the Polish Institute in China, the Polish Olympic Committee, where unique workshops and publications for young and old are created. She has worked as art director at the Sokolnicki Fort Art Center, as well as curator and co-organizer of exhibitions. The artist emphasizes that art is a tool through which we can develop and motivate others. Her abstract works depict colorful organic forms, with which, she adds, she wants to energize space. In her work, Pietrzykowska combines shapes, figures, architectural and even cartographic elements. Her recent fascination is the relief technique. Aga Pietrzykowska regularly realizes new projects constantly experimenting with technique. For several years, she has been running the Illustration Studio at the Social Academy of Sciences and is pursuing a doctoral thesis in art and psychology. Her works have been presented during group and individual exhibitions, among others.: at CCA in Torun (Hand Made/Illustration); in New York (One World Trade Center and The Affordable Art Fair), in China (U Space Gallery/ Ningbo), in Sky Lo` /Showroom at Zlota 44; National Museum in Cracow, Gallery (-1) PKOL, during KRAKERS Crakow Gallery Weekend and International Painting Biennale in Moldova, Art fairs in Essen, Madrid, Vilnius, Spain, Warsaw and other galleries.
