Agnieszka Wenckka was born in 1978. Painting has fascinated her for as long as she can remember.
In her works she likes to include some asymmetry, imbalance, strength , emotion, contrast of uniform surfaces and a multitude of unreal elements, understatement, haziness, light sweep combined with subtle precision. Agnieszka Wencki's works present a combination of unreal forms, sometimes covering or creating a figure, resulting in a surreal character. In her paintings she combines reality and unreal forms, juxtaposes delicate elements and dynamic areas. In her paintings you can see the work of the brush i.e. texture, individual strokes, blurs.
In 2023. Agnieszka Wencki's painting "Hamadryades" became a finalist in the prestigious Beautiful Bizzare Art Prize Competition.
