Andrzej Dudek-Dürer is one of the most original, consistent and recognizable personalities of contemporary Polish art. A performer, photographer, graphic designer, composer and musician who often works with instruments and electronic media, he is active in very many fields of expression - he creates installations, sculptures, deals with environment, building instruments, metaphysical and telepathic activities, anti-poetry or mail art, in a constant process of creation and documentation of his own image and development of his own consciousness. [He believes in reincarnation and is the seventh incarnation of Albrecht Dürer.
He has presented and lectured his work at The Art Institute, Chicago; Academy of Art College, San Francisco; Conservatorio National de Musica, Mexico City; School of Art Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin - New Zealand; The City Art Institute, Sydney; University of California, Berkeley; ASP, Gdansk; Center for Contemporary Art, Warsaw, among others.
