oil, canvas, 130 x 97 cm, signed on the back: '"BAISER DE SERPENT" | ANDRZEJ | MALINOWSKI | PARIS 2007'.
In 1973, he graduated from the Illustration Department of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Immediately after, he left for Paris where he continues to live and create. His first period of work in France was consumed with creating graphics, illustrations and posters for which the artist won many awards and honors. He was President of Art Organizations in France. He worked for world-class film directors: Andzrzej Wajda, Tarkovsky, Bertolucci, Freres Taviani, Luka Besson (Cesar of the best poster 1989-"The Big Blue" and Jean-Jacques Beinex). Since 1990 he has been working exclusively in easel painting. The artist's paintings can be found
in the most prestigious galleries in Paris: Galeries Bartoux, Marciano Contemporary-Champs Elysees, Avenue Matignon, Palace des Vasges, Saint Paul - de - Vence, Honfleurs.
At the same time, Andrzej Malinowski collaborated with the international art group Libellule and participated several times in exhibitions at the "Paris Salons" (Art En Capital). He was also featured in the quarterly "Artist and Art" in 2020. The works of Andrzej Malinowski are in many private collections in France, the USA, Japan, Argentina and Poland (which is the greatest personal honor for the artist, since his work is, as he says: "saturated with Polishness"). Andrzej's paintings are characterized by the subtlety of the play of light and shadow and the rare mastery of choreography full of expression emanating from the painting. The artist uses classical painting techniques often using paints with gold in his works.
