Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (now the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Art). He earned a diploma in easel painting from Prof. Stanislaw Teisseyre and later in architectural painting from Prof. Zbigniew Bednarowicz. His works were presented at exhibitions in Poland, Sweden, Germany, France, Austria, Bulgaria and Hungary. In 1987 he was appointed by the Ministry of Culture and Art in Warsaw as an appraiser in the specialty: evaluation of contemporary art works in the field of painting.
