acrylic on canvas, 70 cm x 50 cm
Aneta Benita Szamel's creative moments of surge of vision are drawn from her restless dreams, experiencing at times hypnagogic states, emotions accompanying after awakening. So-called nightmares and nightmares with chills and sweat running down the back of his neck. He also draws inspiration from his motherly love. She creates paintings wading through darkness, symbolism, into the recesses of the human psyche and its subconscious and what is hidden at the ...bottom of the heart, under the band covering the mirrors of the soul. She carefully explores the inside of the soul, the mind, the imagination. She loves to "dance" on the canvas in her favorite color scheme of paints, black, gray, white and red, dousing her brushes with them. The message in her paintings is not unambiguous. She loves dualisms. She does not follow fashion or a particular trend, although she is enchanted by the works of other artists - masters from the brush (e.g. Z. Beksinski, D. Zawadzki, T. A. Kopera, M. Lewandowski, S. Mon).
